Done and done

Well they dismissed the case I was chosen to work on for jury duty. I'm finished for the next six years :) More time to animate now whoohoo. So I'm looking to move to California with my wife soon. I'm working hard on some stuff for my demo reel so that I can find a job out there before we go. Well gotta get back to animating. Peace

Jury Duty

Yep so come monday I will be participating in the court system. I will be a juror for the courts. I've never actually participated as a juror before so this should be interesting. On a side note, chicken little comes out in a few days WHOOHOOO and I just got my Harry Potter DVD. I'm not a big fan of the whole Harry Potter thing but my wife LOVES it :)

Animation Mentor

So as you may or may not know, I've been attending the animation mentor online school. I made the decision to attend the school for many reasons. First, I'm a firm believer that you can always learn something new. Second, It's founded and run by the top animators in the industry. Third, It's a great way to get inspired by hanging around other people who are just as passionate as you. I think the school is awesome, I've learned so much and met so many cool people. I've had three awesome mentors so far: Randy Haycock- Disney animator for a million years from aladin to chicken little. Justin Barrett - Friend and Reel FX awesome animator and supervising animator. Currently I have Kyle Clark- VP of production at Reel FX. Kyle has done it all, from Sony to ILM and now Reel FX. He's an awesome mentor and a really cool guy. All of my mentors have great eyes for animation and are very inspiring people. I'm glad that I've decided to join this fun community of animators and I hope that everyone reaches there dreams.

Click!

Well don't you love it when you learn something new? You get that "ahhh haaaa" moment. That's what I really enjoy about animation. I never stop getting those moments and I hope I never will. You have to really set some high goals so that you have something to work hard for. If you don't mind just being an "ehh" animator then that's fine. Personally, I want to take this journey as far as it will let me. I strive high so that I will always be working to get to that point. I don't want to see the top, I want to see above it.

Old Pals

I went out last night with some friends that I used to work with. I had a blast and can't wait to see them again. Tonight is my little sisters birthday and we will be going out again....YIKES. I don't know if I can handle partying like this anymore hehe. Well as always, I'm animating like a mad man. I really enjoy this medium a lot and get excited just thinking about it. I really love learning and watching myself progress over the years. I will be a student to this craft until the day I expire and I wouldn't have it any other way :)
