Small update

So I've began to polish the body and will be moving onto the face shortly. Still blocking in the face poses and hoping to polish it up in the next few days. Here is where it stands for now :)

Quick update

Began smoothing. Still really rough but here it is as of today. Arms not touched and neither the hips or legs. Still working on the the rest! You can see that I use the video reference as a base and add in the subtle details later on. I rarely even use video reference to the extent that I did on this shot.

Update

Okay heres a little more added to the blocking. I added some rough breakdowns and what not to see how the acting is working overall. Still need to clean up the poses. Heres V2! Next post will definately be the video reference. I haven't had time to shrink the file size.

New Shot

Yes in fact it is another shot. I think this time around I'm going to post every single step of my workflow. Here is the really rough blocking of my shot. I will later upload the video reference that I shot on my webcam. Then I will continue adding my poses and the my breakdowns and so on. I found this clip and thought it was really funny. I never saw the movie so I don't have an idea of this character before hand. When I heard it, I knew right away what I wanted to do. I tried a few ideas out and came up with this. There are still many poses that I didn't put in but I figured I will post it anyway. I felt like this guy is pitching this idea to someone. As stupid as it sounds, he thinks it's pretty cool. I'm also going to show as he explains it that he has a little doubt about the idea, almost like he is figuring it out as he is telling it. More to come :D Heres the link!

So the big news....I took at gig at BlueSky Studios to go work on there next film. Stay tuned!

forget 180. We going 360 baby

So I have the nintendo wii and it's really awesome. The problem is that a lot of games are exclusive for those systems. I really wanted gears of war and had to do something drastic. I was given the 360 as a present from my fantastic parents! It's AWESOME.
