Animtors: Why we do what we do.

So yesterday I received a letter from a young girl in england asking me to draw her a picture. In the letter she expresses her love of animation and the arts and how much she loved Horton and Open Season. The cool thing was that she did this to a lot of people from various companies. Attached in the letter were small pics from Pete Doctor, Matt Groening and various other artists from around the world. It's awesome to know that people really enjoy what we do. Getting people into our movies and having them love the characters, lets us know that we are doing "something" right. Ultimately inspiring a child by the work we are making is the best reward. Word!
