Siggraph

Siggraph here we go. It's my first time at Siggraph and at Boston! I'm going to visit a friend while I'm down there too. I'm really trying hard to put together a cool reel for those folks there and hopefully crossing my fingers :P something good comes out of it. I'll keep it posted.

Is it worth it?

Time and time again I wonder if this field is for me. I work my behind off everyday practicing and practicing to get better as an animator. I definately feel like I'm getting better but sometimes I have my doubts. One day when I get into a studio of my dreams, I will feel like it has all finally paid off. For now, I will continue to chug away and freelance until I get there. One of these days a nice big studio will hire me just because it has to happen. I wont give up animating because I'm having too much fun doing it. I definately feel like this journey has been worth it and these doubts just push me harder to reach my dreams. Boy I feel like doogie howser typing my thoughts :)

Siggraph

So I'm still doing some freelance around town but I have my eyes set on the prize. I'm trying to finish up the reel to make it out to siggraph. I'm hoping to land a good gig so that I can head out west. Hopefully it turns out well. Cross your fingers :D and will keep you posted
